Yes… I’m going for an original posting-Dicky! But don’t be put off by that… this is a seriously great album. Crackle galore as these are original 7-inches pressed in Jamaica on second-hand vinyl mixed with soapbox cardboard. You can smell the atmosphere of the early 70’s in it and no, it’s not only the ganja smell! (though it’s sure part of it)

Geniaal verhaal over NL groep die Lee Scratch Perry onlangs als guest appearance voor album had geregeld: Hij kwam, ging zitten en las de krant. Toen het zijn “beurt” was reciteerde hij allerlei passages uit de krant die hij net had gelezen in onnavolgbaar Patois, duurde een half uur, en verliet de studio. Veni vidi vici? Indeed!

tof verhaal gast!… ben best wel benieuwd welke band dat dan is ook… kan me bijna niet voorstellen dat het Beef is maar weet zogauw geen andere NL reggae band te noemen die geld genoeg heeft om’m te halen (terwijl ik Beef eigenlijk geen reggaeband vind, maar dit terzijde)
