Another reggae upload from me. This time it’s with vocals and not from the firste the beste… allthough… U Roy is known as The Originator and he actually is the first and the best in this kind of style.
He practically invented “toasting” (as it’s called) which is a sort of rap avant la lettre. But instead of trying to explain the intricaties of “The History of Music; subdivisions Hip-Hop, Reggae” I’ll invite you to just download this and enjoy the master at work.
