Singers & Players - War of Words
March 12th, 2006 by nodog
After getting so much replies to my last On-U-Sound post I obviously had to make another one. This is something completely different to Little Annie though. Singers & Players is reggae/dub with sweet (Bim Sherman) and rough (Prince Far I) vocals complemented by some toasting (Jah Woosh) on the side. All prepared by the best cook (Adrian Sherwood) in the business.
This is as close to totaler krieg as reggae ever came, all-overpowering on all fronts!

YEEEES! I have the “Revenge of the underdog” LP and I love it: it’s moody, different and refereshingly different.
Thank you a million times for this, it will be interesting to hear what they have come up with!

I for one would be happy to see some more! (If you post it, I promise NOT to send more Shirley your way ;-) )
No, seriously; it would be great and truly appreciated.
