TV-Thursday

Nodog:
Before our TV gets reposessed, check this staining reggae docu-series of the early 80’s. Mikey Dread presents “Deep Roots”. 6 episodes of which at least part 4 (with Lee Perry at his madcap best) is a must see. But even if you’re not a reggae fan this series can be very interesting for its inside view of Jamaican society of those days.
Other parts: 1 & 3, 2, 5, 6.

Sifco:

Cashback

I came across this site (/Brilliant streaming experience (not!)) with the 2005 Academy Award nominee for Best Live Action Short Film by Sean Ellis, Cashback (2004).
Of course the cover made me curious (nice model!! ; ) so I tried to find it somewhere else and luckily I did find it at rapidshare.
Also on torrentspy but that one is as dead as a peer.
The newly or nearly completed feature version of Cashback (2006) may be the first feature to contain an Oscar-nominated short within its running time.

Contribution? Joke?
Since there are no rules on Ochblog, here’s a video I (= Sergeant Baker, ed.) just received in the mail: video. Enjoy (?)

Kris:
A cool series starts tonight, 21:30 at RTL-5: Prison Break. Sort of MacGuyver versus The Shawshank Redemption.

gast!
Nothing unusual, nothing original by me, but here it is: a shamelessly funny bible diss, shamelessly ripped from the Black Forest. Must See.

Betsy:
thirty minute dvd-rip of the early years of the dead kennedys (go fuck yourselves).
Demonoid/Torrentspy

Chocotofferts:
Probably well known for those in the know, but just for the rest, keep video and CensorSearch.
