Confessions Tunesday

CHIEL!

Maks:
Wie sjoen is oes Limburg
Let’s start with a confession: I love fanfare-music. Hard to say why, but it probably has something to do with my roots.
… (waits until the Och-audience quits laughing)
Having said that, I do not longer have to keep my secret: last weekend I saw Gé Reinders playing with Muziekvereniging Eendracht Schaarsbergen in Musis Sacrum, Arnhem. It basically sucked by the way, but there was this one sort of bluesy song with some thrilling bugel parts in it called: Processie.
Gé is from Roermond and a little bit more up-north is America, Limburg situated. America is the hometown of Rowwen Hèze and they recorded this tribute (with fanfare!) to Limburg: Limburgs Land.
So far for this weeks confessions.

Zoute snor:
No fancy stories here, this one’s for Mikhail, kom erbij.

Sifco:
Weinig confessie buiten het feit dat ik in Eindhoven zit en dat het wel zomer leek vandaag.

gast!:
Ok, I have to say: Rowwen Hèze bemt. But as I do not understand Limburg gibberish: especially for all y’all: Whodini; and especially for Wankaatjuh: The Mary Jane Girls. G’luck.

Hank:
Well this might come as a pretty big shock to some of you but it will be a relief to others, I’m sure about that. Ok, here it comes: I hate punkrock! It’s the worst music ever made. I never listened to it, I never heard a single song I ever posted here, I just made everything up! Hahahaha!
Ok, but what do I like then. The only music I ever listen to is Dolly Parton. I have a whole 60 GB iPod filled with all versions of all songs she ever recorded. Who needs more music than that? So, to let you share in this musical walhalla, here are three of the best songs ever recorded. Stop laughing, listen to the lyrics and get rid of all your overtollige music.
Gypsy Joe And Me
Joshua
Coat Of Many Colours

Rams:
Let’s start of with a nice Dj Shadow (mixed by Soulwax)song Six days. Why ? I don’t know just was listening to it.
Next up, since Maks started of with some fanfare songs, this one is of the lowest songs ever made it’s called March! by Cathedral (one of their first songs) i think the phat E-string of the bass is tuned into A or even lower, well it sounds like an upcoming thunderstorm !

pedigree:
Hoei! Three tunes again. One we’ve heard before (in a little different form), one kick-ass remix and one kick-ass track. Enjoy!

InvertedPantsMan:
Because I have it so pressure this week only one track: Lazy Confessions

Chocotofferts:
Players (short part) from “Guilty as charged” by Culprit.

*–*:
What the fuck is there to confess?

Sergeant Baker:
Faith No More started a joke. And Thelonious Monster about their body and soul. Have a nice sunny Tunesday!
