Dood aan Bas Rutten - Tuesday

April 3rd, 2006 by Chiel Montagne

CHIEL!

gast!:
To comfort Joid, the title has been adapted. Lil’ Starshine proposed to have a druggy tuesday, Betsy wanted to have a theme-free chance to spill her music, Joid just wanted to bash Bas Rutten.
Anyhoo; I declare this a themefreetunesdaytuesday.
However, I already had my songs adapted to the drugstheme; so: learn how to roll a blunt to get higher (and am I crazy or contains my first .mp3 of today a sample of my Mary Jane contribution from last week?).

To quote Sergeant Baker: Have a happy sunny tuesday!

Maks:
Cypress Hill with Yo Quiero Fumar. From their Spanish album ‘Los Grandes Éxitos En Español’.

Nodog:
I’m confused now… 3 themes at once? Well, let’s have another theme then: Onehit Wonders.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Spaceman by Babylon Zoo. Here’s a quite funny description of Babylon Zoo’s current state of affairs, but at least he had one hit!

*–*:
Since Tool’s new CD (title: 10.000 days) will be released on the 3rd of May a golden oldie from the band of bands… The nice Bill Hicks samples in this track fit nicely with one of the themes of this tunesday!

goodie2shoes:
A little something by Einsturzende Neubauten for your neighbours (turn it up to eleven! )

Sergeant Baker:
Let’s start this tunesday with a song by Bas Rutten, performed by Tricky and John Frusciante, called Wonder Woman. Also a shameless plug for fellowcitymen Joyfalds, a song called Consign (live @ Radio West)

Joid:
You better run, you better do what you can
Don’t wanna see no blood, don’t be a macho man
You wanna be tough, better do what you can
So beat it, but you wanna be bad

Kris:
Paper Bag by Goldfrapp, from the album Felt Mountain. Slow and melancholic, quite the opposite of what she does today.

Betsy :
Ai, i kinda forgot all about it, i got up way too early and slept half of the afternoon, i just have to slow down. To make up for it just a little bit here Psychoticbumschool from the boots (live).
