Ochblog’s “the-day-after” medicine movie

April 29th, 2006 by gast!

So everybody is likely to be a bit brakkish this coming sunday. The solution to that long, long day is right here!

chinaskiLast TV-thursday I posted this splended documentary about Henry Charles Bukowski Jr. (Torrentspy-link)
I repost it, because it bems and because Charles B. is a poet in his own right. Recommendations:
- bearded lady included;
- Bono (not sure if that is a recommendation);
- Tom Waits; and
- Sean Penn

Quote: “Love is a fog that burns with the first light of reality

Bukowski also wrote “Barfly“. This movie, that basically goes about a man living his life in a bar, was shot in 1987, starring a.o. Mickey Rourke and Faye Dunaway.

Quotes:
Anyone can get a job. It takes a man to make it without working.“; and
What do you drink?” -”Allmost anything.

I found a good working torrent, grab it while its there (7 seeders, no leeches…) Is it autobiographic? Watch the documentary first, and judge for yerself.
