The Girls of Pattaya - Thailand

As most of you already know I am going to work in Bangkok, Thailand. Some think that the real reason for me getting the f-word out of The Netherlands is to find a job in Pattaya, better known as the Thai sex capital. Well, yes I will indeed try to visit Pattaya as much as I can, to sail! No not for doing the f-thing.
But for educational purposes lets have a look what Pattaya and the western men are really like ():

The thing that bothers me is that these people do not have the faintest clue what Pattaya is like. Personally I do not think the places that they have in mind thinking of Pattaya are that special compared with Dang Nang in Vietnam. Where there were really no other bars than the bars in the Green Light District (red lights were forbidden in 1994). I saw things happening in Dang Nang that would never happen in bars in Pattaya. Mainly due to the strict policing in Pattaya. In short the Pattaya Hooters bars nor any other Hooters bar excites me.
Not very interested in hookers, like me, have at least a look at this video (high / low) of Songkran Festival (2001) in Pattaya. No nudity and it gives a glance what the best National Day’s (3 days in fact) in the world are like. Better party than Queens Day!

Green light district? Uberlol, “rood mag niet? dan maken we het wel groen”.
Zo ben ik ooit in Vilnius een bar ingelopen met blauw licht in de vensters. Wij verkeerden in de veronderstelling dat het iets met vliegen of muggen had te maken, maar bleek een homo-code te zijn. Topavond gehad met playbackende drag-queens en een karaoke toernooi waar we als onbekende gasten de tweede prijs kregen ondanks een amobinabele performance.

kom op vinnie. je hoeft je niet te excuseren dat je in een verranzigd schurftdorp wilt gaan werken. ik zelf zou een andere plek ik thailand kiezen, die zijn er namelijk echt meer dan genoeg. iedereen weet dat pataya volledig draait op rans. dat maakt verder niet uit, maar zoek aub niet naar excuses.

zeilen in Pattaya steent ook en op die straten na is Pattaya enorm groot en heel relaxed voor een weekend. Maar jullie zijn natuurlijk van harte welkom straks

geen idee waarom je min of meer ranzige filmpjes hier post om ons te overtuigen dat je toch echt alleen maar gaat zeilen daaro, maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. ; )
