nodog: If we can post Weekendmovies on thursday, we surely can post a TV-Thursday in the weekend! Check these guys: The Dudesons. They’ve been on Bam Magera’s show before so fans know what to expect.
I just watched the first episode of their TV-series and it’s pretty wild and luckily much less irritating than Dirty Sanchez (another Jackass clone). All kinds of torrents (including their movie) here. Enjoy!
Exceptions letting there, we all know that those photographers only shoot pictures for one reason. Arton (desing alert!) is one of them, presenting hisself as an Artist (who made a huge grow since his 7th year) in the third person.
The Artist Arton knows how to catch the naive VMBO’er and MILF(?) by inventing hollow stories about elfs and butterflies, dancepaint or giving them a special place to prostitute themselves for free, which those woman buy like sweet cookies.
With horrible lightning, amateuristic bodypainting, non creative curtains and pitiful Photoshop skills Arton is really an Artist to my heart.
Admire more of him here, here, here, here, here, here and here.
Update:
Gast! has found the guestbook! Thnx @ gast!
Meanwhile the girlie with the strange, somewhat pinched off, alien-esque voice Roisin Murphy went solo, but back in 1995 she and Mark Brydon raised Moloko. The two met at a party in Sheffield where Roisin introduced herself and fancied Mark with ”Do you like my tight sweater? See how it fits my body”. Well, he did and one year later their first CD was a fact.
Former acid-jazzproducer Mark Brydon arranged an album while the triphop-hype was at its peak. In fact Moloko didn’t do triphop - whatever it may be - at all, but for convenience’s sake it was filed under it by most of the critics.

Rams’ pots featuring the Fanfare Ciocărlia, a Roma speed-metal brass band travellin’ at a ludicrous speed of 200 bpm, included the album Oh, Danube, Ma Danube! Some things that Rams did not mention is that the Danube is the longest river in the European Union, allegedly, and that the album also features the No Smoking Orchestra, the Belgrade part of Zabranjeno pušenje. The No Smoking Orchestra composed the music for Emir Kusturica’s Crna mačka, beli mačor, this week’s Och’s Weekend Movie, that is situated on the banks of the Danube river. *draws a circle in the air*

Paolo Nutini - These Streets
The world just can’t get enough of them singer-songwriters. Paolo Nutini is one of those new kids on the block. And I just can’t get enough of his debut album. It all seems too obvious. Strong, warm, honest, quality pop songs combined with a charismatic voice.

a balladeer - Panama
This record has been released for some time now, and is one of the best Dutch debuts this year. Small songs, stripped to the bare essence, culminating in the thriving and emotional rocksong Sirens, which is an autobiographical spine for the album. Podium performance needs to mature, though.

CSS - Cansei De Ser Sexy
Another internet hype, this time from… Brazil! Through their Brazilian myspace they vented their music into the world. Cansei De Ser Sexy means tired of being sexy, which is essentially what this record is about. Electronic sexiness, raunchy lyrics and a lot of arrogance. But great fun and great to dance to! John Mayer - Continuum
John Mayer turned his back on easy mainstream pop by starting a blues trio carrying his name. His new solo album is heavily influenced by his new old love. And it is beautifully played poprockblues, but it’s too perfect. Because everyone will love it. Which is good of course, but next time, more experiments please! Score: 7/14 Preview
Dirty Pretty Things - Waterloo To Anywhere
First, there was The Libertines. Revolutionary band, decides to split up. Then there was Babyshambles, the bad (worse?) half of The Libertines (Pete Doherty). And then, there was Dirty Pretty Things with not-so-bad half Carl Barat. And though it’s not Libertines, it bounces and it’s brawling old-school-pub- rock-and-roll. The best half ex-Libertines to listen to, for sure!

A serious tough look, long blond hair and exciting adventures, for 60 years long is the Viking a known figure in the Dutch “comic” industry. Creator Hans G. Kresse didn’t really had a real plan when he started with Eric, but eventually the Eric de Noormancyclus reached an amount of 67 stories. In 1946 the first story appeared in a Belgian (?!) newspaper, which was the first recognition of the Arnhemse grahic creator.
The coming 6 months Eric de Noorman will be the main figure in the streets of Arnhem. On several buildings and in a wide range through the city there will be about 20 gigantic Eric de Noorman images to see. Some originally made by Hans G. Kresse, but also a lot by artists like Hanco Kolk, Mars Gremmen, Gerard Leever en Mark Retera.
