Happy New Year !!

New year has already happened due to timezones, and i wish i could tell you how much i have appeciated this year.

Moddels, music, Tunesday, TV-friday, Weekend-Movie it’s just too much.

Keep on the good work and if you have anything to add please do so.

Amazone: 2006 was one of the best years for me. The best one since two decennia. I am also happy to have shared some wonderful times on and in the ochs and off course I found my grand love of all right here, in the bullshitchat. Love to all and especially to farquaad. And farquaad says hi too.

Pie: Let’s see.. I’ve had death threats, legal threats, threats from women, threats from men, and threats from people who are somewhere in between, such as Jax. So in Ochblog terms it has been a tremendously successful year! I’ve enjoyed watching this blog grow and become even more interesting than before, and look forward to finally achieving World Dominance in 2007. Let’s see if we can piss off some more people, discusss some more awesome music, collectively watch some cheesy, kickass movies and most of all: let’s all try to find the love of our lives in the bullshit-chat. Thanks to all the editors for all their hard work, I truly appreciate it. Now get the hell out of here, you make me sick!

nodog: (a wee bit late but well…) 2006 has indeed been a memorable year for Och. Of course the already mentioned models and other stuff but I’d also like to give some attention to the great series of editors like J-One (Ochcult Corner), *–* Sundaynight Rock ‘n’ Roll, JayJay (50 word reviews) and gast! (hiphop classics). There’s also been some initiatives like “Cooking with Rams” which (after trying out the recipes) we are all very glad with that it was a shortlived one.
With all the fun stuff going on I’d almost forget that 2006 was also the year that Holland’s Greatest Attention Whore (ip nr 80.126.34.150) graced us with his presence. Unsurprising he’s also present in the comments saying that he won’t be “bothering” us anymore but we know better!
I’d like to close off with wishing everybody a very happy 2007, that it might become as good (or - hard to imagine! - even better) an Ochblogging year as 2006 was!

ThE_ED:Well, there it is: 2007! Another coffee-laden new year. 2006 included some incredicble highlights but it had some downsides as well. So now I just have to get rid of the latter for this year. I wish you all very well, and for those wanting to sue, step, insult, spam or complain to Pie; CC me, because I like a good laugh. (At you, yes. Laughing at Pie would be like stepping in a furry hamster at the hamsterweeks; a lot of noise but all you get is a sore back. Hmm, that’s a stupid analogy, but I’m not too good at it…)

Ochblog präsentiert Manta Manta. Eingepackt mit heiße Action an Ampel, Gummi auf die Strasse, Fuchsschwanze an Antenne und ein Tittenschau mit blonden Frisösen, gibt es hier DER Kultfilm dem Mantafahrer. Lange bevor pimping gab es tuning, und der Manta war der König des getunete Wagens. Nicht weil es ein praktisches Wagen ist, aber ein echtes zauberhaftes Rennwagen. In Prime seine Jahre hat der Manta eine ganze große Gruppe Fans bekommen, und war das Mittelpunkt ein Sozialtreffen für viele kluge Leute. Dieser Film erzählt von so einer Crew von der Stadt Hann.

Moddel Of Teh Year 2006

We have had a rumurig year this last year here on Och. It was a cumming and going of Models. We for sure had some ups but also some downs. So on this last friday of the year its time to pik out the five* four models that made the most deimpression. And for you, dear and loyal modellovers, the honerable task to point out our whinner in the comments.

I’d like to start of with Monique. Without ever been actually a model of the week she claimed all the attention towards her and kept the gemotheren busy for many days.
The second parttaker is Sijtje. One out of the big list of models that writes perfectly Ochbloggish. She have let many heart knocks faster.
Number three of my list is the one and only deb0rah. While loser Padfoot thought that he could stop us from spreading her picca’s, deb0rah was what happy with all of her exposure.
And last but not least I like to bring in all the Mymodels Babes. These girls always knew how to surprise us with the most, how shall I say it, “special” pictures.

Barry Adamson

You wouldn’t believe it as you check those tracks on this album, but back in 1984 Barry Adamson was one of the members of Nick Cave’s Bad Seeds as they recorded their debut-album ‘From Her To Eternity’. Before that Adamson was even one of the founding members of Magazine, a legendary English post-punk band. Adamsons love of contemporary black dance beats wasn’t very obvious at that time, but as he released ‘The Negro Inside Me’ in 1993 it defenitely is. The tracks do feel however as if it was ment to be for a soundtrack of which the film was never directed: divers, dark, soulful and jazzy. Pour yourself a whiskey or a longdrink and make yourself comfortable with this highly underestimated musician.
(But to be honest, the only reason I bought this six-track EP a while ago was because of it’s outstanding cover of ‘Je T’aime… Moi Non Plus’, which he performs with Louise Ness, atmost hornier as the original version by Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg :- )
