R.I.P. galore this week. This time Gerald Ford his engine quits working. So Gerald Ford, dead today!
Santa’s gone, Freek’s car and James passed away and the end of the year is neigh. Couldn’t be better timed for some outstanding, plain and simple alt.rock here at Och. So let’s bring ‘em in: Mando Diao! Back in 2002 five Swedish guys released their first album containing twelve songs with an average length of three minutes, which is not so coincidentally the perfect length for a sharp rocksong: their heroes also worked that way. My personal Christmas message to you all is about a bit of peace.
So how a fire in the icy wind,
how a doll that likes no more,
I feel at many a day.
Then I see would hear the clouds that are over us,
and the screams of the birds in the wind.
I sing as an answer in that darkly my song,
and would hope that does nothing happen.
