Danko Jones is a rock band pur sang. No complications whatsoever, just sweat and rock. I first saw them at metropolis festival (2001 I think) in Rotterdam and I was meteen verkocht. Later I saw them at smaller venues where they realy come to their right. Gigs are very energetic, sweaty and downright dirty. Although their more recent releases sound a bit polished and might not be to the taste of the more die-hard rock fans the first two mini albums are true gems. If you ever get the chance to see this band in a small zaaltje be sure not to miss it. In the meanwhile if you would like to own some of their music on plastic I would recomend “We Sweat Blood” as the best full length album IMHO.

A lot has been sad about the graphical features in Windhoos Vista. These features suck the paint of your house compared to the features in Beryl.

The Beryl project is a window manager for Gnu/Linux operating systems which makes use of your 3D graphics card to give your desktop some cool eyecandy features.

We got news from SSLA members, that the plot succeeded to A-bomb Second life with a hack.

Some veterans of the game are pretty angry with the state of affairs. They want vengeance. And given that you can create pretty much anything in the game world, one such player has gone the extra mile: nuclear weapons.

More bla bla here. Jup the end is near. Witnesses don’t want to play anymore mwhaha. People need fear or don’t have a life, I guess. The rebel leader meanwhile spoke recently at revenews. More about the organisation also here and here. 2nd life probably isn’t “open” enough.
