There’s a saying in Afrkaanz that goes… ”Net harse en dwarse skryf hulle name op mure en glasse” which means only fools and idiots write their names on walls and glasses.
Last month ‘BOMB IT’ was presented at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
”BOMB IT is the explosive new documentary from Jon Reiss investigating the most subversive and controversial art form currently shaping international youth culture: graffiti. BOMB IT will be the most comprehensive film project about graffiti and street art done to date and for years to come, featuring original and rare footage from the top graffiti writers of modern times, from Cornbread and Taki 183 to Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, and up-and-coming artists pushing the boundaries of this longstanding artistic and social movement.”

Bedoel je Kroonjuwelen, Ama? Die heb ik uiteindelijk op MTV gezien en dat viel me ook niet echt mee.
Goodie heeft inderdaad een punt (dat overigens voor vrijwel alle kunstvormen in het algemeen wel te zeggen valt), maar ach: don’t judge a b00k by it’s cover.
De trailers zijn in ieder geval veelbelovend imho.
