Foreign bands that rule on cd but suck on Youtube

As follow-up of my very old / second post on Ochblog “Local bands that rule on stage but suck on record” I herewith present “Foreign bands that rule on cd but suck on Youtube“.

I hardly watch tv and haven’t watched MTV in a decade, instead, to keep-up, I check channels on Youtube. A channel that is ok is e.g. “Wichita Recordings” with bands like: Simian Mobile Disco, Conor Oberst, Simian Mobile Disco and Those Dancing Days.

In short the label is ok, most of their bands are fine and their clips are enjoyable too. There is one exception though that’s ‘Bloc Party’ their song ‘Banquet’ rules but I hate their clip.

Anyway Rikki Kasso fixed it for me and for some reason I’m hooked to this clip below. It is composed of over 15000 photos and you can clearly see that he was inspired by Alizee:
