Sterretje en Ochblog doen een dringende oproep aan alle Nederlanders die Sterretje een warm hart toedragen om een donatie te doen aan het campagnefonds, zodat Sterretje zijn eigen villa met zwembad kan bouwen en financieren.

Op woensdag 4 juni heeft het kabinet de financiering van de villa met zwembad van Sterretje gestaakt. Volgens een eigen risicoanalyse van Ochblog loopt Sterretje echter nog steeds een groot risico zonder zwembad.

Ochblog is de tweede weblog van Nederland in de peilingen, maar krijgt geen cent subsidie. En nu ook geen villa met zwembad.

Dus ik ging verder, dat dit toch niet zo aardig was, maar hij nam slechts notie van mijn klacht en vroeg wat hij er verder aan kon doen. Ja, dát weet ik ook niet, natuurlijk, maar hij kan er toch wel voor zorgen dat het niet weer gebeurd? Dus ik bedankte hem en hing op. Kom op! Ik snap best dat er soms iets niet helemaal netjes gaat, maar zeg dat dan gewoon. Het erge is dat men zich er niet van bewust leek dat dit toch niet echt de bedoeling is.
Zelf ben ik best makkelijk:
Ik heb al meermalen eens een vraag beantwoordt van iemand via de mail, naar aanleiding van iets dat ik schreef. en zelfs een enkele keer iets van een journalist ontvangen. En als het dus nou een persoonlijk mailtje was geweest van “Hey, ik zag op fok! dat je dat en dat leuk vindt, wil je misschien naar dit TV programma van ons?” dan had ik het wel leuk gevonden. Maar dit was gewoon een algemeen mailtje over een nieuw programma van Carlo Boszhart.

(Ergens begint nu trouwens wel een radertje te draaien dat ik een cynische opmerking over Carlo had geplaatst in een kuttopic ergens, ooit. Niet echt opt-in, zegmaar, behalve dat werving op die manier alsnog niet de bedoeling is.)

Uit frustratie RTL zelf gebeld, zij waren erg correct en aardig. Ik heb tweemaal de juridische afdeling aan de lijn gehad, die natuurlijk ook niet direct weet of en waar het fout is gegaan. Een aardige mevrouw vroeg me om meer informatie en verzekerde me dat de mail zoals ik het vertelde in ieder geval raar over kwam. Dus bij deze een puntje voor de nette afwerking van RTL en een minpuntje voor MasMedia.
