I would like to thank the people from the varkensschuur for reuniting me with one of my favourite albums of longlonglong ago… Septic Death’s “Now that I have the attention, what do I do with it?”. An intense hardcore band from the eighties led by ’singer’ Brian “Pushead” Schroeder, whom is more known to the world as album cover artist for a certain sucking band I won’t name.

De allerleukste cover in tijden komt op naam van de 19-jarige Roos Rebergen die ‘Watskeburt‘ van De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig live at 3FM BuZz speelde op een verrassend slepend blues-rock arrangement met gezellig koortje. Let ook op het heerlijke (ironische imho) gesproken intro. Steent!

En ik werd weer aan de band herinnerd tijdens Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie (thanks freek jr.). The Flaming Lips speelt namelijk de aftitelmuziek (dan moet je een hele grote zijn).
